Belly Ache Minnow
Basic minnow proportions, but dam! When this puppy hits that water, I’m in love. The guts of the pattern are a tungsten bead that will keel over the hook (great for avoiding snags) and really bomb that fly down quickly. If nothing else, just watch from 8:18 to the end. I love that action! The fly as a great mix of material with color and a beautiful taper. This is tied with saltwater in mind, but it looks perfect for bigger salmonids and bass too. Check it out!
