Flies for Walleye

Okay, I admit I’ve not had a ton of luck when it comes to fishing for walleye on the fly. In fact, I’ve only caught a couple of them ever and it’s always been on a chartreuse and light (silver or white) Clouser minnow. I can’t complain about that pattern as it works quite well for the purpose. Anyhow, I found this interesting link with a few other things to try including this unusual looking orange propeller rabbit fly.

Have any other interesting patterns you would like to share? What is your go to Zander / Walleye fly? Click here for the rest of the selection including a couple of the formentioned Clouser variations. http://www.hdc-nm.com/jimi/flyswaps.html
